The brothers who share a love for surfboards and waves
Silver Surf Surfboards was born from the dream of building a life around the art of crafting surfboards. Founded in 1994 in Santos, São Paulo, by brothers Adriano “Teco” and Sylvio “Tico” Oliveira, the brand grew from a small workshop into one of Brazil’s leading names in surfboard design.
Today, the brothers live that dream every day. They’ve earned the trust of thousands of customers, celebrated a World Title and Olympic Gold alongside their team rider Ítalo Ferreira, and continue to grow their factory into one of the most influential surfboard producers in Brazil, and beyond. What started as a passion project has become a global reference in performance surfboards.

From World Champions to Every Surfer Out There.
Italo Ferreira.
Performance and stoke for everyone.
Silver Surf designs are trusted by some of the most talented surfers in the world, including World and Olympic Champion Ítalo Ferreira. That level of performance comes from deep, technical insight: Teco and Tico, both high-level surfers themselves, combine their own experience in the water with constant feedback from elite athletes to refine every detail of their shapes. But their mission goes far beyond the podium: Silver Surf is committed to helping everyday surfers evolve, push their limits, and find more joy in every session.

Born in Brazil, mastered in California.
For over 20 years, Teco and Tico Oliveira have maintained a deep connection with the heart of surfboard innovation: California. Their journey took them straight into the epicenter of surf culture, where they immersed themselves in every step of the board-building process, from design to lamination, sanding, and finishing.
One of the most defining connections in their journey has been with legendary Californian shaper Timmy Patterson, from T.Patterson Surfboards. A long-time mentor, friend, and major influence, Timmy continues to impact their development as craftsmen to this day.
This long-standing exchange of knowledge, technique, and culture helped the brothers refine their craft to a world-class level. The fusion of Brazilian passion and Californian mastery is present in every board they make.
